Writing a post the morning of???

Blogging in real time right now.  This is something I usually reserve for the weekends, but last night I was way too into a Korean Drama called "Coffee Princes" to actually do any real blogging.  I think this is going to be one of those "picture free" posts.  I love it when people do these.  You can tell they're committed to the art of writing, and not just finding ways to tie words to pictures.  Anyway.

It's 6:22 am, and I just finished my upper body workout for the week.  It was humbling.  I have always had a relatively strong upper body.  Not so strong that I can hang with boys, but I used to do decline push-ups, and use 15 pound weights for just about everything.  So I started with my 10 pound weights today, and by the end of the workout, my lightest resistance band was feeling way too heavy.  The moral of that story clearly is that I'm not going to be able to eat for the next few days, because it's going to hurt too much.

Which is tragic, because today is our "cheat"day.  Yup, once a week you get to cheat on your diet and eat what you want.  It's so exciting after 4 days of spinach and hard boiled eggs.  Cheat days are technically scheduled for Saturdays, but that would mean moving beer night.  You guys should all know that what has kept me going through this entire week was the thought of beer night and dinner from a food truck tonight.  There was no way we could push that off to Saturday.  Some things in life are too awesome to be pushed to a different time.  We still haven't settled on a brewery for tonight.  I think we are taking some of our friends from Ammon's lab group with us, so I'm assuming somewhere relatively local.  The last thing we want to do is arrange the car situation to take 5-7 people an hour away to drink.  Too complicated.

I told you guys earlier this week that I was in computer training Monday and Tuesday of this week, right?   It totally threw me off for the rest of this week.  We have been behind at work, and have been scrambling to get caught up ever since.  I worked until 7:15pm last night, because I got a call late yesterday afternoon that we had someone coming through the property at 9am to look it over, and the entry ways and laundry rooms were in no state for anyone to be reviewing them.  The overtime is incredible, but by the time I get home, I am too exhausted to do much.  Hence why my face hasn't been all over blogland, and why your emails have not been returned.  I haven't even started my homework for the week yet for school.  Shoot.  I need to get on that.

Speaking of school, it is almost over!  The last day of my classes is May 13.  After that I go into full blown, psycho wedding mode.  I have put off cutting into the fabric for my wedding dress until school was out in the hopes that I could focus on one thing at a time.  Also, I wanted to get through the initial "get small" part of this new workout regimen so that I could minimize alterations once I'm cutting the fabric for the dress.  That's going to be quite the day.  I will probably cut fabric at my mom's house, and part of me thinks she should video it, so you can see how much of a spazz I am about this process.  I am so incredibly stressed about using this fabric.  Even on sale the fabric and notions for my dress were double what I spent on fabric and notions for 4 bridesmaids dresses.  And I'm 1/8 of a yard short on my fabric, so one slip could really spell disaster.

The good news about that, though, is that after the first fitting, we nipped a bunch of fabric out of the bodice of the dress, so I'm hoping to make up a tiny bit there, and I've lost 5 pounds of so since that fitting.  I am going to make this work, come what may.

Oh, May.  So far you have given me one snowy day, and yesterday was pretty alright.  I think your high was 48 or so?  Today looks nice so far.  Let's keep that up, alright?  Don't pull a stunt like you did 5 years ago and snow on the 11th.  That isn't fair to anyone.  Except for the ski resorts, who have to keep reopening due to all of this snow.  They think you're tops, cold May weather.

Alright, it's 6:47am.  Time to go put food in muh bellay before my arms hurt too much to make that a reality.  Hope you all have an outstanding Friday!  We made it!!!!
