Getting back in the Saddle

Happy Monday!  Did you have a good weekend?  Our weekends are starting to follow a pattern... I study, and Ammon tries to give me space so that I can focus.  We're such an exciting couple, I know.

So, after a week and a half off of working out due to various injuries, I'm going to climb back on the horse and start Phase 2 of ChaLEAN Extreme today... it goes into heavy lifting today.  I think I'm still going to take it easier o my legs this week, and the foam rolling...

Well, as torturous as the foam rolling is, I think I'm going to have to make that a daily occurrence from here on out.  For those of you who don't know what foam rolling is, it sounds just like what it is.  You roll your leg over a foam cylinder as a form of sports massage.  It hurts a lot.

So, since I'm starting again today, I thought I would scour Pinterest for some thin-spiration.  Did you like that?  Here's what I've got for you:

Yeah, I know that every blogger that's trying to get fit posts this, but it's true.

A yoga pose that has eluded me (for years!), and a quote that reminds me it's worth it because it eludes me.

Yes.  Preach it, Nike.  Preach.

What's going to drive you to be your best self this week?  I'd love to hear what you're loving right now.

  2. Is ChaLean extreme a home workout system? I've been thinking about starting Insanity or Turbofire...Good luck with phase 2! You can do it!

  3. I love the last quote. I've fallen off the horse a bit the past couple of months but trying to get back on. Hope all your injuries are better!

  6. I feel sick again.
I do. This is getting a little ridiculous.
My point of this comment (other than having you feel sorry for me and writing back to say "oh tiff, I'm so sorry you feel sick) is that I have GOT to figure out how to be healthier. But, the problem is I already eat {fairly} healthy and exercise daily. Sooo ... it might be the blogging. I might need to blog less and sleep more. Gosh darnit.

    Well, you do, of course.
