1985, yo!

So, when I first heard about this link-up, it was because the sweet, sweet Kelly over at The Houtz House Party posted her look-back at 1984.  Well guys, I wasn't even in the embryonic stage until late in 1984, so I wasn't sad that I'd missed that train.  Then I saw the date that they were looking at 1985.

Huh.  July 1st.  It just so happens that on July 1st, 1985, I was making the journey of my lifetime.  That's right, I wiggled my way down the birth canal and into the waiting hands of an eager OBGYN.  Well, I hope he was eager to catch me.  He didn't fumble, so that's good.

And thus, this girl started her journey to Radiance.

They tell me I was like, less than a day old when this picture was taken.  Hello world!  I am here, and I am chubby!

 My Favorite thing to do in 1985?  Smile and laugh.

...With a few naps thrown in.  Who wouldn't want to nap on a couch that awesome???

And I can safely say that this lady had to be one of my best friends that year.  She always told me in my older years that she was blessed with a large chest that was great for cuddling newborn babies.

These 2 weren't quite sure about me yet... but I like to think I grew on them as the years have passed =).

So there you have it, my official "look back" at 1985, on the day when things got spicy for me.  We're off to the zoo and dinner, but first:
