Enough gizmos and gadgets to be a spy

On this most awesome of Fridays, I have to give a shout out to technology.  It is absolutely inspiring this post, 100%.

Most of you would never know, but my phone and I have been on the outs lately.  Like, "it only holds a charge for 5 hours max" kind of outs, and that's provided I don't even breathe on it.  I finally decided that enough was enough, and I moseyed myself in to the t-mobile store.  I am now the proud owner of an HTC one.

And while I might SEEM happy, I'm really only kinda-sorta happy, because for some unknown reason, it's giving me an error message every time I try to install Instagram.  Bad times, friends.  Bad, bad times.  If I can't upload useless pictures for all of you to ooh and aah over while simultaneously oohing and aahing at your pictures, I may just have to quit this blogging scene altogether be the saddest blogger you ever did see.

Also exciting is that I had to finally figure out my iPod and my Garmin Forerunner 10, since we leave for Idaho Springs tonight after work.  The iPod and I were on the struggle for a while... did y'all know that these stupid new iPods have to be TOLD to share music with your computer???  WTF???

...How you iPhone people LIVE, I will never know.  I'm a PC.

On a side note, sometimes I am just utterly dumb about technology.  Like the fact that I couldn't for the life of me find the power button on my new phone.  It took Ammon showing me where it was, even though he didn't go with me to buy the thing  Mostly because the power button has a built-in infrared sensor.  I can now program my phone to be our tv remote if I want to.  Are you kidding me???

And after all of this is said and done, I can't upload Instagram.  Technology these days, I tell ya.  With any luck, I'll have some pictures to share on Monday from an awesome and fun weekend getaway!

  1. I just got an iPhone and I only mostly love it. Apple has this irritating this where it can't merge apple IDs, so all of my iTunes music is under the apple id I created when I bought my first computer back in like 2005. So... no tunes on my phone, they are all trapped on my computer! =( Lame.

I was a Blackberry person for a very long time, I only just recently entered the Apple cult. :-D
