Oh yeah, I'm going to tell you about some pretty shiny things. But first, since this is my blog, I'll show you what the cat thinks about my use of the treadmill.
What you don't see is that this landed 4 inches from the treadmill belt, while I was running on it last night. Little jerk. If only I didn't love him so darn much.
This will make shiny look so much better. A few weeks ago, I took part in a Christmas ornament swap put on by Living in Yellow and Dreaming of Dimples. This was a daisy chain style swap, so I received an ornament from Kim from Typical Kim, and I sent an ornament to Kristin at Young and Southern. I'm not going to share what I sent, but I will let you see a sneak peak...
Yes, I actually shared candy canes. Nobody was more surprised than I was. Next up, the adorable package I got from Miss Kim, my newest
That's my name, in case you weren't sure ;-). I about died when I opened up the cute little tissue-paper parcels and found 2 new tree friends.
A partridge and a pear! I had mentioned to Kim that last year was the first time we put up a tree, and so she thought we needed some cute traditional ornaments. And what better than ornaments symbolizing everyone's favorite way too long Christmas song???
So thank you again, Kim, for your wonderful package! I am really looking forward to putting them on our tree this year.
What new ornaments will be on your tree this year?
So glad you joined the swap! In love with your ornaments.Happy Holidays!
