Blisters and Mental blocks

Oh Tuesday, you sly devil.  You totally crept up on me, I guess amidst the myriad of errands I ran yesterday.  Yet here you are, and here I am.

I guess we're going to have to make the best of it.

I honestly have little motivation to blog right now.  Not in general, just right at this particular moment.  I feel like I have something to say, some topic that should be bubbling up, but it's just out of reach, locked in some hidden recess of my mind.

I just realized I have a blister on the top of my foot from walking around in flip-flops.  That's going to make today extra special.

Since we all know that I've officially got nothing today, I'll leave you with some images that I took on Sunday up at Rocky Mountain National Park, aka Heaven on Earth.  I hope they brighten your day as much as they do mine.

See you tomorrow.  Keep your fingers crossed that whatever it is that's gnawing at the back of my mind makes itself known in the net 24 hours or so, will you?

  1. Gorgeous. We head out to Fairplay, CO at the end of this month. My favorite place to vacation. There is nowhere I relax more than in the mountains.

    Take care of that foot!

  2. Wow. You seriously have some of THE most breathtaking views "out west." I always hear the words "out west" and my mind instantly goes to think about "how the west was won." And your pictures just sort of made a little something pop into my head....the beauty of the west is what made is WORTH winning. :) You're so lucky to live in a beautiful place!

    XO's

Can't wait to find out what the gnawing lil' thing is!

  3. You sly devil! Cracks me up....I feel that way about Sunday. It's all "yay for the weekend" and then all of the sudden it is Sunday night and I'm trying to find something to take for lunch the next day.

    Curse you weekdays!

  5. Ugh, I don't know about you, but my Tuesday freakin' dragged. And now it's almost midnight. How did that happen? Sheesh.

Anyway... Hope your inspiration comes back, friend!

  7. To me that looks like peace at its finest. Although I would just stare at them from a far, climbing them would be another story. But its a thought.
